Hastings Student Notices
White Ribbon Day is a call for everyone—especially men and boys—to actively speak out against violence toward women. It’s a reminder that changing our culture starts with everyday actions of respect, accountability, and empathy. 1.6 million women in England & Wales experienced domestic abuse in the year to March 2024. That corresponds to about 6.6% of women aged 16+
Tomorrow at Station Plaza, we will be hosting several stalls where everyone is invited to take part and make their own pledges to end violence.

Fearless against Crime in East Sussex
On November 10th 2025, Lewes and Eastbourne Community Safety Partnership, Sussex Police and Fearless launched a knife crime awareness campaign to educate young people on the dangers of carrying a knife, or any other weapon, and encourage them to speak up if they know someone is carrying, to help keep themselves, their friends and community safe.
The campaign, through targeted communications, will raise the profile of the anonymous reporting service that Fearless provides and build trust and confidence in the local community around speaking up and reporting crime.
Please connect with us on socials and share our posts to support this campaign and our wider work (see suggested captions on the following slide).
