Arthur Miller’s The Crucible is a partially fictionalised telling of the Salem witch trials of 1692/3. Accusations of witchcraft following a game played by the daughters of a Massachusetts village spiral out of control and many must choose between their reputations and their integrity.
This production, captured by Digital Theatre live at London’s Old Vic theatre, was directed by Yaël Farber, starred Richard Armitage as John Proctor and enjoyed a sold-out run, receiving widespread critical acclaim.

This 20th anniversary production of Jonathan Harvey’s play about two working class teenage boys falling in love on a South East London council estate was captured by Digital Theatre live at the Arts Theatre in London’s Leicester Square.
It was directed by Nikolai Foster and starred Suranne Jones as Sandra, a single mother trying to make the best for her and her sensitive son, Jamie. The production received wide critical acclaim and was revived again two years later.

International Women's Day
This year at Eastbourne Campus we are celebrating International Women’s Day on Monday 8th of March.
We are encouraging all to participate in the WEAR IT PURPLE Day on Monday the 9th to show our support to women not just here at college but all over the world. Come in your most purple items of clothing, that could be a jumper, headband or even shoes!
You can also come and share a piece of Knowledge in The Refectory 12pm-1:15pm on Monday 9th of March to help us create our “Heart of Knowledge”.

Ramadan 2026: What You Need to Know
Ramadan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar, observed by Muslims around the world as a time for fasting, prayer, reflection, and community.
During this month, Muslims fast from dawn until sunset, refraining from food, drink, and other physical needs.
It is a time for spiritual growth, self-discipline, and empathy for those less fortunate.
In 2026, Ramadan will begin on the evening of Tuesday 17th February and end on the evening of Thursday, 19th March. The exact dates may vary depending on the sighting of the moon.
