During this month, Muslims fast from dawn until sunset, refraining from food, drink, and other physical needs.
It is a time for spiritual growth, self-discipline, and empathy for those less fortunate.
In 2025, Ramadan will begin on the evening of Friday 28th February and end on the evening of Tuesday, 30th March. The exact dates may vary depending on the sighting of the moon.
