On November 19, International Men’s Day celebrates worldwide the positive value men bring to the world, their families and communities. We highlight positive role models and raise awareness of men’s well-being. Our theme for 2025 is “Celebrating Men and Boys.” Men face serious challenges that often go unspoken or unsupported. It’s not about blaming men or saying something is wrong with them; it’s about recognising real patterns so people can get the help they deserve.

Anti bullying week

Last week was Anti-Bullying Week, and this year’s theme was Power for Good.
It’s a reminder that every one of us has the power to make a positive difference through our words, our actions, and the way we treat people.

We need to be aware of how our behaviour affects others.
Sometimes we assume we could never be a bully — but bullying doesn’t always look like shouting or physical aggression. It can be subtle: a joke that goes too far, leaving someone out, spreading rumours, or making comments online without thinking how they might land.
That’s why it’s important to look inward, reflect on our actions, and challenge ourselves to do better.

Using our “power for good” also means standing up for others when we see something that isn’t right. Even small actions — speaking up, checking in on someone, refusing to join in — can make a huge difference.

Let’s keep the message of Anti-Bullying Week going by choosing kindness, empathy, and courage every day.
