Hello Everyone,
A huge welcome to all our new and returning students as we kick off another exciting year at Hastings Campus! ✨
I'm Paige, your Student Enrichment Coordinator at Hastings, which includes Station Plaza and Ore Valley, and each week I'll be sharing info here in Student Notices about what's going on around your campus and in the Hastings community. I want you to get the most out of your time at East Sussex College.
This week's notices include information on our Freshers Fair, how to get involved with Student Voice, and other opportunities to get involved — either in college or in the wider Hastings community.

Freshers 2026
We have a 3-day extravaganza this year, with so many activities for you to get involved with. Whether you want to meet new people and have some fun, or you're finding the beginning of the year stressful and want to unwind, there's something for you. Community stalls will be at all three days too!
At freshers, you'll also get the chance to meet others from around the college, including the wellbeing team, careers, and the library — plus we'll be launching all our new clubs. This year we're going to have more clubs than ever, so keep an eye out for what you can get involved with!
