We are encouraging all to participate in the WEAR IT PURPLE Day on Monday the 9th to show our support to women not just here at college but all over the world. Come in your most purple items of clothing, that could be a jumper, headband or even shoes!

You can also come and share a piece of Knowledge in The Refectory 12pm-1:15pm on Monday 9th of March to help us create our “Heart of Knowledge”.

NO SMOKING DAY

No Smoking Day is an annual awareness day held on the second Wednesday of March (March 11, 2026) to encourage smokers to quit. It highlights the benefits of stopping, such as improved health, financial savings, and better mental well-being.

UNMISSABLE TALK WITH TABAN SHORESH

Join us for a powerful and moving talk from Taban Shoresh, OBE – British aid worker, women’s rights activist and founder of The Lotus Flower. A Kurdish genocide survivor who narrowly escaped a mass live burial, Taban now dedicates her life to supporting women and girls affected by conflict.

Following the talk, one student will have the unique opportunity to interview Taban live.
