October INSET Days
Heads up! Thursday 22nd and Friday 23rd October are INSET days. That’s when staff are in training, so there are no timetabled lessons for most students.
Before you make plans, check your timetable and confirm any arrangements with your tutor, just in case your course is different.
Also, don’t forget: It is half-term week of 26th Oct, back in on Mon 2nd Nov.
AFTER HALF TERM
Lewes Bonfire, Thurs 5th Nov
All lessons to finish by 3pm so staff/students can make their way home.
All curriculum areas will be locked down from 3pm to enable the campus to be completely shut by 4pm.
Anybody sitting in social spaces/staff rooms will be politely asked to go home.
Students to exit the campus completely by 4pm.

White Ribbon Day
“Violence against women and girls doesn't come out of nowhere.
It starts with "Just a joke." "Just a bit of banter." "Just boys being boys." We've all heard the excuses.
If we keep laughing it off or saying nothing, we're helping to make it seem like it's okay.
You don't need to make it a big deal. Sometimes it's as simple as saying, "Come on, leave it," calling out sexist content, or speaking up when a group chat goes too far.
If nobody challenges it, nothing changes.
It takes all of us.” ~ White Ribbon.org UK 2026
