Express Fest - Art for All!
Interested in a career in the arts? Thereβs an event at The White Rock Theatre on the 18th of May β itβll feature our amazing Level 2 and Level 3 makeup students, whoβll be creating hair, makeup and looks inspired by Lady Gaga! One student, an inspiring drag queen, will also be performing alongside Kiki Snatch from Rupaulβs Drag Race.
Itβs part of Expressfest: Art for All!, an inclusive arts festival thatβs free/pay-what-you-can and packed with something for everyone.
Highlights include:
A dance workshop led by Emily Haygarth from Wicked: The Movie
An industry discussion panel
Live performances from local talent & Kiki Snatch from RuPaulβs Drag Race.
This event is likely to sell out, so even though itβs free, please make sure to get your ticket in advance.
Attention all students starting university in September!

Itβs Mental Health Awareness Week and this yearβs theme is βCommunityβ β highlighting the vital role that connection, support, and belonging play in our wellbeing. π Whether it's reaching out, checking in, or simply spending time together, strong communities help us thrive. Samaritans will be visiting the campus on Tues 13th May in the Mall from 10.30am.
