Heatwave Alert: how to keep safe
βοΈ With the warm weather set to continue, many of us will be heading to the beach, rivers, lakes and outdoor swimming spots to cool off.
If you're planning to spend time in or around the water this summer, remember these simple safety tips from the RNLI:
π Stop and think before entering the water
π« Stay together with friends
π If you get into trouble in the water, Float to Live
π Call 999 or 112 and ask for the Coastguard if you see someone in difficulty at the coast
Whether you're enjoying our local beaches or travelling further afield, make water safety part of your summer plans.
Stay safe and enjoy the sunshine! βοΈ
