Ask your tutor/lecturer - each course and department may have set dates to fit in with your study programme

Yes - It is important you discuss this with your tutor and place a work placement request through Navigate. Please be aware 1 months' notice must be given before you start your placement.

Certain checks will need to be completed before you start your work placement. You will also need proof of your placement so it can be recorded to your student record and fulfil your 30hr placement as part of your Study Programme.

If you have any questions/ concerns about your work experience please contact the Careers & Employability team or your Tutor as soon as possible.

Please phone your employer as soon as you know you cannot go in and contact the College as you would for normal absence.
